No. HitBuddy’s built-in counter works independently and provides voice feedback without an app or internet connection. Connect to the TekXYZ App when you want to use its supported training features and challenges.
Yes. HitBuddy supports Bluetooth connection to the TekXYZ App on compatible Android and iOS devices. Update the app to the latest available version before connecting.
It acts like a rhythm coach. Instead of getting distracted by counting in your head, the HitBuddy voice counter lets you focus entirely on the target and your form. Hearing the count (e.g., "10, 20, 30...") creates an audio feedback loop that pushes you to maintain your streak and beat your high score. It turns a boring workout into an addictive game.
No disposable batteries are needed. The HitBuddy features a built-in rechargeable battery. It can offer long-lasting power for thousands of hits on a single charge.
Note: For environmental reasons, the HitBuddy H1 does not include a USB-C charging cable. Please use any standard USB-C cable.
Absolutely. Like the standard model, the HitBuddy also features our GlowFlex Ball. With the HitBuddy counter turned on, you can see the glowing target and hear voice feedback as you practice.
HitBuddy uses a built-in motion sensor to count hits. When connected through Bluetooth, it can send those counts to the app. The app also offers sound-based counting through your phone’s microphone, without connecting the HitBuddy counter.
