Combo Mode: Keep Your Streak Going
Combo Mode challenges you to keep hitting without breaking your run. Rather than working toward a fixed total, the aim is to maintain a continuous streak.
On Play, look for the yellow infinity icon labeled COMBO. Tap it, choose Beginner or Expert, and open the play screen. Your hits appear as you train, with Top Scores available for comparison.
Use the difficulty options to choose a challenge that suits your practice. A missed hit ends the run, giving you a clear result to work on during your next attempt.
Target Mode: Train Toward a Clear Goal
Target Mode gives your session a defined objective. Choose a hit-count target or a duration goal, then work toward completing it while keeping your hits going to avoid a timeout.
Find the yellow bullseye icon labeled TARGET on Play. Open the target picker, select your goal, and tap Set Target. The workout screen lets you follow your progress and pause when needed.
Choose Hits or Duration
In the Hits tab, goals start at 500 hits. Complete a goal to unlock higher levels in sequence. In the Duration tab, choose a training time, starting at 5 minutes.
These options give you two ways to structure practice: build toward a hit total or set aside a defined amount of training time. Choose the goal before you begin so you can see what you are working toward throughout the session.
Connect HitBuddy H1 Through Bluetooth
Android 1.4.1 adds Bluetooth connectivity for HitBuddy H1. Once connected, HitBuddy H1 sends hit-count data directly to the TekXYZ app rather than relying on your phone’s microphone to detect hits. This reduces interference from surrounding noise.
Turn on HitBuddy H1 and enable Bluetooth on your Android phone. On Play, tap Add HitBuddy and follow the connection prompts. A confirmation shows when the connection succeeds; you can then check the connection indicator and battery level on the Play page.
Bluetooth connection is now available to both iOS and Android users. For more about this feature, read our HitBuddy H1 Bluetooth announcement.
Share TekXYZ Videos Beyond the App
Android 1.4.2 adds sharing to other apps, making it easier to send a TekXYZ video to friends. Open a supported video, tap Share, and choose an available sharing option on your phone.
When a shared video opens in TekXYZ, a prompt lets the recipient choose Watch Now or Not Now. It provides a direct way to find the shared content in the app.
Try Again in Eligible Prize Games
Supported Prize Games now let you redeem points for extra attempts after your first submission. Look for Try Again on the event details page.
Tap Try Again to review the available extra submissions, the points required for the next one, and your current balance before confirming.
